CycleSense:

Charting to Conceive

Learn to navigate your fertility journey with precision & confidence

You spent your 20s avoiding pregnancy at all cost, and now that you're trying to conceive, you're more confused than ever.

Every month that goes by, you're wasting time and budget on fertility theater like:

  • LH strips that don’t guarantee that ovulation will happen

  • Wearables that “predict” your fertile window based on algorithms trained on 22-year-olds

  • Apps that bank on your cycle being the same every month (despite life being…well, life)

Despite fertility tech companies telling you that your cycle is too complicated to decode without their subscription fees, your body is already giving you fertility signals (for free) every single day.

And I can teach you how to read them.

CycleSense: Charting to Conceive teaches you body literacy for baby-making.

This course is about informed conception: the foundations you need not just for timing, but for holistic cycle support.

Three months of quality cycle charting can tell you:

  • 📊 If you’re ovulating – Did you actually release an egg this cycle?

  • 📊 When you’re ovulating – Ovulating timing can vary month to month, and not always on Day 14!

  • 📊 Luteal phase length – Do you have 12-16 days post-ovulation, or only 9-10 days (too short for implantation)?

  • 📊 Cycle regularity – Are you ovulating consistently or having anovulatory cycles?

  • 📊 Potential issues – Thyroid dysfunction, low progesterone, short follicular phase, etc.

This information costs under $500 and lasts you the rest of your life, not $24K (the average cost of one IVF cycle in NYC).

The fertility industry knows this. But why would they care when teaching you to chart might cost them money?

Hi, I’m Kate, Certified Fertility Awareness Educator who is also preparing to conceive in my 30s.

My credentials:

My story:

I’ve supported many cycling clients through their conception journeys after 35+, and I have seen many of them urged into conversations around IVF and ART as a first line of care before any other options are explored.

I’m tired of watching clients get railroaded into incredibly expensive treatment before they’ve gathered the most basic information about their cycles - not to mention I’m on my own conscious conception journey in my 30s!

I am a total cycle nerd, and I have made it my mission to teach others this life-changing skill.

WINTER 2026 GUEST FACULTY:

  • Arielle Laws, MSHS is a functional nutritionist and integrative medicine practitioner specializing in women’s fertility nutrition.

Arielle’s most valued identities are those of a mom and nutritionist. Each of these distinctions compel her to meet her mamas-to-be precisely where they’re at, to listen to their stories, understand their background, and to recognize their baby dreams. Because unexplained infertility is not a person-centered diagnosis. There is always more to the story.

She bridges the gap between evidence-based research and intuitive clinical practice to create individualized protocols; our work is sometimes lighthearted, other times deep-seated, but always growth-oriented.

  • Susan Staley is a clinical herbalist with a focus on relationship to food and nourishment in today’s world. Her work is informed by the human experience, traditional wisdom, contemporary literature, and of course, the earth.

With over 10 years of clinical experience, she began formal study of herbs and plant medicine in 2009 and nutrition in 2004. In 2023 she completed the Women’s Functional & Integrative Medicine Professional Training Program with Aviva Romm, MD.

She is a founder of Railyard Apothecary in Burlington, VT. Susan lives outside of Portland, ME with her husband and toddler. She has a love for the ancient world and days past, eating with loved ones, being outside and the wisdom of the human heart. You can find her improving her meal prep skills, trying to make time to paint and washing dishes. Susan hopes to build a hoop house for winter greens and help increase interest and accessibility of herbs in her community.
